Life Teen is coming...
Life Teen is coming to Youth Group!
The St. Mary Parish Youth Group will be implementing Life Teen "Life Nights" this coming winter. Life Teen is an international youth program made just for Catholic teens. Life Teen helps us live our lives according to the truth of the teachings of the Catholic Church and helps us claim or identity as Catholic teens.
We will spend the fall and early winter exploring which parts of Life Teen work best at St. Mary Parish. During this time of exploration we will be looking at all the parts of our youth group programs and discuss what works and what could work better. We want every teen in the parish to join us and help us form the best possible youth group program built around Life Teen.
Sunday, November 20th:
We will be gathering at 5pm in the Seton Center for Evening Prayer and Adoration followed by pizza and a Bible study on the Biblical roots of the mass. Bring your favorite Bible and your ideas on what can make youth group the best it can be!
Sunday, December 4th:
We will have Life Teen Life Night on Social Media and the 8th Commandment. We will explore how we present ourselves to the world on Facebook and Twitter. We will gather at 5pm in the Seton Center for Evening Prayer and Adoration, then move onto the Life Night and pizza for dinner.
Sunday, December 18th:
Christmas Party!
After meeting at the Seton Center for Evening Prayer, we will enjoy a night of Christmas fun! Please bring a Secret Santa gift, no more than $10 of a religious nature (prayer books, rosaries, medals etc). During our party we will be watching one of our favorite Christmas movies. Bring your favorite G or PG Christmas DVD and we will vote on which one to watch!
