Welcome to St. Mary's
Founded
in 1867, St. Mary Catholic School is the oldest Catholic elementary
school in Alabama. We strive to meet the spiritual, intellectual,
emotional and physical needs of our children. We provide a quality
Catholic education in a secure and nurturing environment emphasizing
student potential and achievement. We continue to develop self-disciplined,
productive students to provide leadership for the future. We accept
differences and respect each individual as a child of God.

St. Mary Catholic School has implemented a service called Edline where you can go online to check your child’s current grades and other class assignments (3rd-8th). This is an exciting feature designed to keep you, the parent, up to date on your child’s progress. The information is secured and can only be accessed with the proper name and password. If you need an activation code please contact Linda Thornton.
Beliefs
and Mission
The
Beliefs and Mission Statement for St. Mary Catholic School was
revised and adopted as a result of a process of meetings by a
committee of stakeholders. After many thought-filled discussions
our Statement is truly a reflection of the St. Mary Catholic School
community.
